Dr. Stuart Walter Stoloff, MD

Dr. Stoloff listens, is thorough, follows up, and cares about the patient both as a patient and as a person. He does get impatient with patient that don't follow his orders. I think that reflects positively.

This physician is completely self-centered and drug focused. He prescribes drugs that he has a personal interest in seeing succeed on the market, rather than honestly and independently considering the appropriateness and efficacy of the drug for the patient. His answer to everything is more medication. No alternative treatments, no changes in diet or exercise--just meds. His bedside manner is horrific and he refuses to answer any question that even slightly questions his "expertise" on any given topic. Questions about a diagnosis or especially about medications, are dismissed to the patient's ignorance. He considers himself an expert in the field of pediatric asthma, but is basically just a salesman for pediatric asthma medications.What's more, his staff is completely unprofessional. Dr. Stoloff is hardly ever in his office and when he's gone, his staff members spend most of their time gossiping, chatting with family on the phone or visiting with people in the office who have no… appointment or business there. They have absolutely no professional skills whatsoever. Confusion is common when checking on the date or time of a follow-up appointment or the payment/insurance status of a given account. They are completely incompetent.
