Suhaeng Kim Hur, FNP

Ms. Hur is board certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioner. She has had a wide range of health care experience; first as a Registered Nurse in a neurosurgery unit, a med/surgical unit and a bedside recovery room nurse before receiving Master of Science in Nursing from City University of New York-Lehman College in family nurse practitioner; allowing her to care of patients across the spectrum of ages. She worked with an interdisciplinary team who specialized in pain management treatments in New York City for one and half years, treating chronic pain with pharmacological treatments and interventional techniques as a family nurse practitioner. Based on her nursing background, Ms. Hur joined the pain management team at Westchester Medical Center in September 2015, practicing in the clinical care of all age group patients with acute and chronic pain, life-threating illness, and end-of-life. Ms. Hur takes pride in working with patients with …challenging pain management issues, promoting function and quality of life during an acute illness or following trauma. Ms. Hur enjoys spending time with her two children and husband, as well as doing yoga and listening to classical music
