Dr. Subashini Narayanan, MD

Dr. Narayanan has been my doctor for 12 years. All of the doctors I saw before felt I had too much wrong with me for what Medicare will pay for visits and for fear of errors hurting me. Dr. Narayanan was not scared or intimidated. She did extra research to determine what meds I can take and conditions I have since my case is rare. Even my hematologist had to talk with colleagues and research some... Anyway Dr. Narayanan is a great primary care doctor and she will write all of the prescriptions the other doctor want me to take to ensure I don't have any interaction issue. I have been amazed how many other doctors with more glamorous specialties have made huge mistakes in prescribing. I have severe allergies and one prescribed a topical ointment which contains one of my allergens, Dr. Narayanan called and took care of everything. She is the best!

Staff and doctors are friendly and welcoming as well as efficient. While waiting for allergy test results, she went on vacation so her associate read my results and informed me that all were negative and she would follow up with me if needed. After not hearing from her for 2 weeks, I called her and was told that no follow up was needed. I was disappointed and frustrated as she obviously forgot to address my chronic sinus symptoms. Recently I learned from my dermatologist that Dr. Narayan sent him results that I am allergic to a chemical that Dr. Narayan tested me for. I was shocked and angry that I have never been notified of this by Dr. Narayan to date. I will not return to her office nor will I recommend her.

I visited this this office for my routine physical check. The doctor's office completely messed up all the billing. Here's what happened. 1. As part of the routine checkup, I had to get blood work done. Doctor's office drew my blood. After I got the blood work report, I figured out that I did not get report for one of the tests. Hence, I had to go one more time to get my blood drawn (hassle). And now, they sent me an invoice the second visit. 2. The doctor's office did not pass correct insurance group number to Quest. Hence my insurance rejected Quest's claim. I got an invoice from Quest and called them to find that doctor's office did not give them correct details. 3. My routine physical is completely covered. I shared my past disease history with the doctor. Instead of putting that information in notes, doctor put a medical code for that disease. Now, my insurance rejected the claim saying it is not routine physical exam. I made multiple calls to figure this out and shared the… information with doctor's office. And they said flat no to send correct codes to insurance. I am having to pay for the routine exam which is covered.

Dr. Narayanan was recommended to me by family. It was my first visit but Dr. Narayanan knew what she was talking about and really sweet. I look forward to keep going to her.
