Dr. Subbareddy Konda, MD

If I could rate zero I would. This doctor ruined my life. It's been over 6 years since he removed both of my first ribs for thoracic outlet syndrome. At least that's what he said I had. I now have lifelong nerve damage in both of my arms and I have brachial plexus damage. Every doctor that has seen me after him has said this should have never occurred. The other doctors tell me this is not a complicated surgery that I went through but he destroyed my life. I really wish I could get legal help and financial compensation for this. I have now since had two other surgeries and needing a third to help with the damage that he has caused.

This guy ruined my leg. I had a small damaged vein from a softball injury years ago. He never mentioned that a surgery could make it worse. Just that he could fix it or live with it. So I did the surgery. Well it popped up a vein in a totally different area in pain after the first surgery. He said we can go back in and fix it, so I went in again and now my whole leg is swollen from damaged veins failed by the vein surgery. I would very much want to seek legal help. I hope this will help others and maybe they want take down this review like they did on another review I had written. I believe that they were more concerned about making money off of me than thinking about my quality of life. Thanks a lot Doc.

I had surgery done by Dr Konda in May of 2010. I cannot say enough about how Kind, Truthful, and Professional he was as I was not planning on going into surgery unexpectedly one day after and angiography. He performed a 6 bypass on me at age 59 and today over 8 years later I feel great and am living a full, active, healthy life. I highly recommend him for anyone needing bypass surgery. Thank you again Dr Konda.

Dr. Konda is one of the nicest and best surgeons I’ve ever met. He operated on my husband who had a non-ST elevated myocardial infarction. When I say, he made my husband and I feel so at ease when he came to speak to us about the surgery. I can’t tell you what it meant for him and his team to let us know that everything was going to be alright. When he came and spoke to us after the surgery, he spoke with such care and again assured us that my husband’s surgery was a successful. Hats off to Dr. Konda and his team.

Did not explain how or what the consequences would be!!! The operation made me worse! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DR.KONDA TO ANYONE! He said he can’t correct it.

I don't see how anyone could give Dr. Konda less than 5 stars. He performed a 5 way bypass on me fixing problems that were beyond the scope of stents. I am healing and feeling better every day.

Dr. Konda did my second bypass heart surgery in Round Rock after S&W Temple decided after a week of study they wouldn’t do it. The first surgery and 8 stints failed after a short time. My life would have just been shortened. A very caring intern in Temple recommended Dr. Konda and got me in the next day. I owe that intern and Dr. Konda my life. I’m healthy now and loving life.

He saved her life, twice, in one year

Essentia Health SMDC has lost one of the best surgeons they have had. Not only is he a great surgeon but also a kind and compasionate man. I have had the privilege to know him as a volunteer in the surgical family room and know how dedicated he is. He will be missed. It is truely a great loss for SMDC

I don't believe you'll post poor comments. Lacks bedside manner. Doesn't meet with family. evade family waiting in the waitin room. dishonest.
