Dr. Subhash Patel was the on-call physician for my mother during her recent visit to Delnor. Dr. Patel was absolutely wonderful. Very attentive to my mother's concerns, patient, and kind. Great sense of humor yet very professional. Bedside manners were phenomenal. I would highly recommend him.

He took care of my needs and he listened to me and we came to an agreement! Concerns were addressed!!!

I've found Dr. Patel to be interested in my health and thorough in his diagnoses and treatment. He referred me to good specialists when warranted. The problem is getting an appointment, which is not in his personal control. When you call, you almost always get a recording. After many minutes on hold, you leave a message they promise to return within 24 hours, but that doesn't happen. This forces you to keep calling until you finally get someone to talk to who then tells you that he doesn't have a schedule yet since he works at two different Northwestern hospitals that don't talk to each other. If you've not succumbed to a stroke from dealing with their appointment system and finally get to see Dr. Patel, he is very good.

I was a relatively new patient. I ran out of one of my seizure medicines. My Pharmacy contacted my doctor's office more than twice looking for the doctor's authorization to refill my prescription. I called several times myself. I kept getting the same response.."we will give the doctor the message.." or "we will give the doctor a note and mark it as high priority." I still could never get a response from the doctor. My pharmacy had to give me a couple of days emergency supply while we waited. The whole thing was ridiculous. I finally called the office for one last time and got really nasty with them before they finally gave my pharmacist approval for the refill. I am so done with that place!

Horrible office. Finally found Botox injections for relief of migraines. Effective if injected every 3 months. Due to the terrible staff it took them six weeks to get me in. Still waiting to see doctor after sitting for an hour. I’ve discussed the poor service and doctor does nothing about it. Need to find a real and caring neurologist. Good healthcare is hard to find. Northwestern should be embarrassed to be affiliated with this office.

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. He made several costly mistakes, that affect people lives.
