My mother contacted Dr Gowda regarding her admission into the hospital (diagnosed with a minor stroke)and her response was "What do you want?" She was rude and disrespectful. That is no way to treat a patient who, due to COVID, was scared and alone in the hospital. She showed no empathy or compassion. I am also in the medical field and she is out of line.

Dr. Gowda was the on-call doctor when I called the office on a Saturday re: an incident with my mother who is the patient of another doctor in the practice. She was curt and I got the impression I was "disturbing" her weekend. It was loud in the background and I heard people talking, so much so that it felt like other people were on the line with us. I understand I was calling off hours, but at first it was hard to hear her and I wasn't even sure she was talking to me because I was hearing other conversations. No apology, just "you're calling me on the weekend, I'm not in the office. I can hear you" when I mentioned my confusion hearing others talking. After I explained what happened with my mother, she asked me one question regarding the incident then said "You should call the office on Monday to make a follow up appointment with her (my mother's) doctor. Good bye." She then hung up on me!! I have never had a doctor speak to me with the tone this person used. Very rude.

I had visit with Dr Gowda at the Somerset, NJ office due to a clogged artery. I'm am having additional testing done next week. She was very aggressive with wanting to do a stent. Another Dr. said her approach was not warranted. He recommended increasing my Lipitor to help melt the clog in my heart. Seems this Catherization is a money maker for a cardiologist. I do not recommend this Dr. I'm a type 1 diabetic since age 2.

From being a thorough professional, to showing compassion, and being efficient to a fault, she created a reassuring environment. She may seem like a no nonsense attitude in beginning, but you later realize, she is a straight shooter. It is my pride to be taken care of by Dr. Gowda. Thank you

Extremely happy with Dr. Gowda who has been taking care of me for 9 yrs and fixed my abnormal heart beat.

I have a history of heart valve surgeries and have had numerous episodes of Atrial Flutter/Atrial Fibrillation. I have been under Dr. Gowda's care for over 5 years during which time she has performed a number of procedures including cardio versions, an Ablation and a pacemaker. She is someone that me and my wife see for the past 12 years. She initially did an SVT ablation and then started taking care of my wife, and now takes care of my in laws, my uncles and several of our family members in Monroe. Extremely professional, efficient, caring and on the go. The only problem is that since her schedule is always busy she has to keep moving. I have told her that I wish she can spend lots more time with us. We love her!
