Dr. Subhro K. Sen, MD

I had a huge amount of pain in my TFCC in my wrist. The PAMF doctor I spoke with first said nothing could be done. I couldn’t live with this, so I saw Dr Sen for a second opinion. He said he could solve my pain, although the underlying problem would always be there. I took the chance (nothing to lose!) and did the surgery. It worked! And 3.5 years later, still playing tennis with no pain!

I had a procedure in 2017 with Dr. Sen on my left ring finger. He is very understanding and explained the procedure in great detail. I had no complications and was happy with the outcome.

Dr Sen is amazing! He's done both trigger fingers and Carpal Tunnel for me. I can't imagine trusting anyone else with my hands.

Had hand surgery about a year ago, had to write this review for Dr. Sen after he just checked in on me to see how I was doing! I found him to be quite intelligent and precise when he spoke to me about my bad thumb pain. I distinctly remember him taking a lot of time to ask me about my problems and how they were affecting MY life, instead of just jumping into what the surgery would be, like the other 2 hand surgeons I saw. He walked me thru every step of the process and his predictions were spot on . Surgery went flawlessly, when I had minor issues, he and his office staff were right on top of things. I have sent family members and friends to him and would go back to him again in a second if I have any more hand problems (hopefully not!)

I am extremely disappointed in Dr Sen. I was considering a procedure, but undecided. I asked him how much the procedure would cost. He said insurance would pay for it. I asked again how much it cost and said I wanted to know how much my insurance company would be charged. He and the resident laughed, like it was wrong of me to be compassionate towards my insurance company. I never got a straight answer, but had the procedure done anyway. A few months later, I get a bill in the mail for over $1,000. I have spent countless hours on hold on the phone trying to get this bill worked out. I blame Dr Sen, who never gave me a straight answer about the cost of the procedure. This, I think, is part of the problem with the health industry these days; the cost of services is too far removed from the decision of whether to perform them.

I was getting shuffled around and Dr. Sen took care of me when no one else would. He went above and beyond the call of duty as a plastic surgeon and helped me get the care I needed. He called to check on me on weekends and evenings, i don't think he stops working! He is really something.

Fantastic doctor. Saved my leg with a flap surgery when others said it had to be amputated. Was really attentive. I could tell he took pride in his work

I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Sen. He performed my cancer reconstruction and I found him to be highly capable, respectful and kind. Of all the surgeons that have treated me, he spent the most amount of time with me. One of the few docs that actually sat down to talk to me and my family. We felt well prepared going into surgery and knew eaxctly what to expect. I found his bedside manner to be quite endearing. I am greatful I was referred to him!
