Subir S. Jossan, M.D. Orthopedic Surgeon, Hand & Upper Extremity Surgery Dr. Jossan is a Board-Certified Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons who enjoys hand surgery, general orthopaedics and fracture care. He specializes in upper extremity problems of the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder in pediatric, adolescent and adult patients. He completed a residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Medical College of Virginia and a fellowship in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery from Yale University. He has been named a "Top Doctor" from 2005 to 2025 in Washingtonian Magazine. In 2011, Dr. Jossan was named Top Doctor in the USA by U.S. News and World Report for Hand Surgery. He was honored by U.S. News and World Report as one of 217 Top Hand Surgeons for the entire country, one of only two Hand Surgeons named in Virginia and the only Hand Surgeon named in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area. Dr. Jossan is also a current Castle Connolly nationally …recognized Top Doctor, as well as a "Top Doctor" In Northern Virginia Magazine. Dr. Jossan has also received added certification as a Hand Surgeon by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Jossan founded Prince William Orthopaedics, Hand Surgery, and Sports Medicine in 1999. Located in close proximity to Dulles International Airport, and Reagan National Airport, his practice serves a regional, national, and an international patient population.

Dr Jossan has an amazing bedside manner. From my wrist surgery to my injections every few months, he has always been compassionate, accommodating and always keeps me laughing.

Dr. Jossan has treated both hands for trigger finger with excellent results. He does a great job of answering questions and explaining options.

Dr. Jossan is the type of doctor I feel comfortable with. He is professional, a good listener, conservative in his approach to treatments, and compassionate but firm about his instructions.

The visit went well and I was relieved the condition didn't require surgery. Dr. Jossan put me at ease immediately. He's always been very professional and caring.

The entire office was wonderful and Dr Jossan was kind, friendly, and helped me yet again (I came for a different issue a year ago and knew I wanted this practice to help again) He took the time to talk, calm my nerves, and explain the process.

Doctor was very courteous. Not in a hurry at all. Took the time to thoroughly examine my issues and then explained in grate easy to understand details. 5 Stars is not enough. If you have hand issues this is the guy you want.
