Great doctor, with amazing office staff. From check in to check out. My visit was amazing!

DR MENACHERY IS ONE OF THE MOST KINDHEARTED AND UNDERSTANDING DOCTORS THAT I KNOW. HE HAS THE GREATEST BEDSIDE MANNERS OF ANY DOCTOR THAT I'VE HAD THE EXPERIENCE TO WITNESS. HE NEVER QUESTIONS YOUR OPINIONS OR MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE YOUR NOT CAPABLE OF UNDERSTANDING WHAT IS GOING ON WITH YOUR HEALTH AND THAT IS A PLUS IN MY BOOKS.

I would rather not need his care, but I am so thankful for Dr. Menachery. He makes me feel like he genuinely cares, and he is the only doctor that actually calls! The only negative I have is that he is a little slow in calling with test results (probably because he is calling patients himself vs. having his staff call). But, overall, I love him and fully trust his judgment.

Dr. Sudeep Menachery is one of the greatest doctors of all time. In fact, he is the first doctor that called our home to follow up with my spouse in more than 40 years. He actually took time out of his busy schedule to call us directly. This is definitely the kind of doctor we all want. If you have the opportunity to receive his care, please don't hesitate. He's the best!

Dr. Menachery saw my father when Dad walked in during the office lunch hours after he was released from the hospital. The diagnosis of Stage IV metastatic lung cancer had been delayed in being given to him for over a week. Dr. Menachery acted kindly and quickly and started Dad on a course of radiation and chemo. Dr. Menachery met with our entire family to discuss the diagnosis and treatment- five people bombarded him with questions.He answered patiently and in a way we could understand without being condescending. He called the night before radiation was to start. It was a Sunday. Dad passed away suddenly 54 days after diagnosis. But, Dr. Menachery and his staff were wonderful to us and to Dad during that time. We cannot be more grateful.

I tend to agree with the negative comments. He took me over from a leaving doctor who was kind and professional. Unfortunately, Dr. Menachery struck me as one of those classic doctors overwhelmed with too many patients, not really very sensitive to their needs or fears. He gave me the impression that he wanted to be done with me that day as fast as possible. No follow ups on my annual mammograms. It was the breast surgeon that followed up with it. As a result, I am not going back to him.

My wife found Dr. Menachery on the internet. My Oncologist Dr. Essig was retiring. Dr. Menachery is knowedgable , caring, an takes his time talking with us. Keeping us well informed on my condition. I have been with this doctor over a year and a half. After moving to southern Maryland, me and my wife take the ride to the facility every week. The treatment nurses are just as caring as Doc is.

I am so pleased to have Dr. Menachery as my oncologist. He is very professional and a very caring doctor and so is his staff. He explained everything very well in terms I could understand and he took away all of my fears. He came highly recommended.

I was told I'm Factor 5 Leiden positive with blood clots in Both lungs and leg after some abdominal surgery. I saw Dr. Sudeep Menachery @ Oncology Hematology Associates of Fredericksburg. My issue is with the NON-exsistant follow up care. I had to --look up my own blood work-- results online (after two weeks went by)-and then call and leave a message for a nurse to call me back to explain the results. This took another week or more b/c we played phone tag. I was told a follow up was not necessary and if I have concerns to see my regular doctor. The whole point of seeing a specialist is for them to to help take care of the issue but also give results. I've never seen a doctor that doesn't follow up with results and let the patient ask questions. I had 5 Low or High blood results I needed to know about. I googled them, which to me is ridiculous. Apparently there is more money in cancer than blood problems b/c the office is very nice. Is this b/c my insurance doesn't pay much and I… wasn't worth the time? I was so happy to find this office close to home. My surgeon from Inova Fair Oaks called and left 2 messages for him to call back. This is b/c I need to have scar tissue removed that is very painful. My surgeon needs to know the protocol with blood thinners etc. before doing the surgery. I know he got the message b/c I too told his nurse Dawn that my surgeon needed to speak to Dr. Sudeep Menachery. He never returned the calls so I'm moving on to a hematologist at Inova Fair Oaks. I won't be recommending this facility or it's doctors to anyone.
