Dr. Sudeshna Kundu, MD

Terrible Staff, called to set an appointment, nurse was not friendly at all I wanted an urgent appointment, she replied go to the emergency room, took my SNN and my contact and called the next day with an appointment after like a month, after taking the day off and going, they telling me so simply oh we do not take your insurance, it was a mistake, this is how that seriously that staff take people health.

I found Dr. Kundu to be highly intelligent, careful and she referred me to specialists as needed. She is sensitive to women's issues and as an older female I found this helpful. She was able to fit me in when I needed to be seen. I am grateful to her.

I choose to leave Dr. Kundu and found the "brotherhood" at Peachwood refused to accept me as a patient even though they were accepting patients. I have waited in excess of an hour for Dr. Kundu and finally got tired of it. .

This doctor is COMPLETELY insensitive and out of touch with her patients! My mom has had an excruciating pain (she described it as bad as labor pains and cried everyday) in her back all the way down her leg. Dr Kundu prescribed multiple pain pills that did NOTHING to help with the pain. 3 weeks later of this my mom found out through an MRI that she requested that it was something that could be treated and get relief with a different medication. Myself and my mother called her MULTIPLE TIMES for her to call in this prescription that would give my mom some relief. SHE NEVER DID. Knowing[or not knowing because she could have not taken the time to realize that my 52 year old mother is in SO much pain that she had to use a walker!) that she had no medicine to help her, she left my mom to suffer through it! AWFUL DOCTOR. Being a doctor is about helping people. If you're too busy to meet the medical needs of your patients even after they have reached out to you multiple times then its time to… stop requesting new patients or retire!

I took my elderly mother to see Dr. Kundu because she was accepting Medicare patients. My mom is a sweet, smart, totally with-it, caring person and is in no way pushy or demanding; Dr. Kundu was immediately dismissive of her and didn't really want to listen to her or explain anything. When I took my mother back to her for a second appointment a few weeks later, Dr. Kundu became very angry when my mom asked her to talk more slowly so that she could understand what she was saying. She told my mom she didn't have time to talk slowly. Then when my mom asked her a medication question, Dr. Kundu exploded and told her that she would never give a certain medication to a 92 year old and that if she didn't like it, she could find another doctor. My mom was devastated at that response. A few days later, she received a registered letter from Dr. Kundu advising her to find another physician. Our whole family is stunned at this unprofessional behavior and my mom is heartbroken and humiliated… that a doctor "fired" her. I have never written a negative review about anyone, but I hope reading about our experience will be helpful to someone else.

I am very displeased with Dr. Kundu. I started with her a couple of years ago for migraines and other issues. I have had migraines for the last 5-6 years and they are only getting worse. I have tried prevenative medications as well as on the spot medications (right when I am getting a migraine). None have worked.She referred me to a specialist who is wanting to try another treatment but my insurance is not wanting to cover it.I went back to Dr. Kundu, waited 45 minutes before she came in the room and she did sit there and talk with me for awhile but only to tell me that I have been tried on all these meds and none are working and she can only follow the protocol for treating migraines and can not give me any pain medicine. These are her words, "as far as I am concerned my hands are tied as a primary phyisican." I was so upset that I told her she wasted my time coming in and my copayment, because I thought I could go to my primary phyisican to help me when all other options were not… working.She said I could go back to the specialist. I just got up and walked out at that point.So if you are looking for a doctor who will help you with all of your medical issues, then Dr. Kundu is NOT for you.
