Dr. Sudha Reddy Muthekepalli, MD

Despite having actual labs that suggest a problem, Dr. Muthekepali insists that all of my symptoms are psychosomatic and due to anxiety. She actually has asked several times if I **want** to take a follow-up test. While some might find this trait appealing, I take it as a sign of her incompetence and unwillingness to troubleshoot symptoms to reach an appropriate diagnosis. I would much rather she just schedule the appropriate follow-up based on my symptoms. She has been completely uncaring and unsympathetic with follow-up questions designed to confirm her suspicions of mental illness rather than to get at the bottom of the full suite of symptoms. I would rather visit a computer algorithm than this doctor, it would likely be less accusatory and more focused on the actual symptoms and labs.

This doctor was completely uncaring. She ignored my symptoms, and accused me of doing drugs and being mentally ill. I can assure you that I am neither. A person can't make up not having a period for half a year. Keep in mind that I am not pregnant. She said that she couldn't really figure out what is wrong in only a twenty minute appointment, but if the B12 and gluten allergy tests come back negative, she will refuse to see me and refer me to a mental institution. What a terrible and demeaning thing to say. I have never had problems eating gluten. I spent a month in Japan, for heaven's sake. After my horrible experience with this doctor, I have immediately sought out another for my primary care physician.
