Dr. Sudhakar Tumuluri, MD

Dr. Tumuluri is the third rheumatologist I've had since being diagnosed with RA more than 5 years ago. I hesitated to see him after he replaced my female rheumatologist, but he surprised me. His bedside manner is not particularly warm at first, but I liked his thoroughness and problem-solving orientation. He's a straight talker, likes to ask lots of questions, and takes a longer-term view when understanding how the disease is manifesting in you. And by the end of my first appointment we were laughing together. He is also personally very responsive and uses the Signal app to quickly communicate with his patients. I have my second appointment with him coming up, but so far, so good.

Dr. Tumuluri is an excellent doctor who spends a lot of time with you. His office staff is almost worthless. It can take weeks for them to send copies of records to other doctors or clinics. You would be better off taking the paperwork with you instead.

Guys- He is the Best! he has controlled my RA in just 6 months time frame. His approach to my queries is phenomenal. Always there whenever needed. He has reset his appointments whenever i needed appointments on short notices. In short, I believe him 100% and follow him religiously. I have seen the results and i am sure his treatments will turn me around. I would also like to add about his staff members, they are Amazing. They like talking to people. I would say that one of the best office staff i have seen around in Bay Area. Good Luck folks!

Dr. Tumuluri is a very committed doctor with very good diagnostic skills and knowledge of his field. He shows concern for other conditions I face even those outside of his expertise. Also of importance to me is the respect he shows to me as his ever-inquisitive patient. I recommend him highly.

Dr. T is the best most caring Rheumatologist - he will keep going until he finds the correct diagnosis as it is sometimes very hard to diagnose Ra related illnesses. There isn't a better doctor!

If you really want to know what is wrong with you you MUST use doctor Turmuluri. He is young yes but! he is caring and will go the extra miles for you all the way all the time!! You MUST use this doctor - he is excellent at what he does! the staff is great as well, Shari and the assistances are all very nice!
