Dr. Sugandhi Sridharan, MD

I had appointment schedule with this Dr in Nov 2023 as a first time patient But was on Keppra from a ER Visit750mg in June I ask to be wean off because of side effect but she instead added other medication to take with the Keppra when I email her back I told her that I rather not take any other medication until I see her and she drop me as a patient cancel my appointment and said I don’t get alone with women neurologist!!! I need a doctor that want to partner with me in my care!

I accompanied my cousin to a visit to be her advocate. She said that she felt completely "abused and defeated" after previous visits with Dr. Sridharan, and she was so berated that she couldn't take in all of the information. The first thing Dr. Sridharan said when entering the room was to ask if I was my cousin's daughter. How ridiculous - we are a couple of years apart in age. She didn't even look at me before saying that and was annoyed when I mentioned I'm her cousin. She said, "who cares - I have to say something". It went down hill from there. She was rude, condescending, shamed her patient and cut off every question asked. I interjected on the patient's behalf and asked questions, only to be shut down. I could go on and on with the poor care, insulting and u professional behavior, overlooked PT referral, inaccurate prescription and more. The bottom line is that if you want quality care, seek a different neurologist. It was the most awful and disappointing medical appointment … I've ever been to.

I came to Dr. Sugandhi by way of my favorite Dr ever, Dr Jeffrey Jones, retiring.We did not get off to a good start. That’s to put it mildly. After pancreatitis put me in the hospital my medication was changed to Keppra after being on Depakote for 30 years. I had severe side effects from it. Severe mood swings, crying,vision problems, neck shoulder and back pain, sleeplessness and extreme depression. I had a point in which I said “2020 is the year I die.” She had said that it was just my anxiety. It took a lot of work to convince her to change my medication. In coming off from it I had my first grand-mal seizure. It put me in the hospital for 3 days. I still struggle with the sleeplessness and the pain as well as having loss of memory. I’ve had about 5-6 seizures since in which put me in the hospital. My advice is if you are searching for a new neurologist look elsewhere.

Never ever been treated so bad! My 83 year old mom went in for an aneurysm, all she wanted to do was talk about a stroke, said they don’t treat aneurysms and why were we even there. Left with no answers to our MRI/MRA findings of an aneurysm. Never listened to a word we said, just beat on her papers and said she had no reports and never gave us any answers to a very serious condition. Left in tears and visibly shaken! Will NEVER step foot in there again!

Very rude!!!!! Did not listen whatsoever. Acted like I was wasting her time, when in fact she was wasting mine. Please don’t waste your time! Find a real doctor!

I would give this doctor a negative 5 star rating if possible. Dr. Sridharan did NOT review my daughter's medical records from Mayo Clinic and other medical providers prior to our visit, and she continued to dispute everything we told her about my daughter's condition. She argued that it couldn't be so, but had she read the records, she would've realized in fact that it was true. To summarize this visit, the doctor was condescending and downright rude, told my daughter her medical condition was in her "head" and that she recommended that she see a psychiatrist. Ultimately, within a matter of weeks, we received 3 neurological diagnoses from Cleveland Clinic and my daughter continued to suffer from a complete misdiagnosis by Dr. Sridharan. I would NOT recommend this physician to anyone wanting actual compassionate and accurate medical care. LOOK ELSEWHERE!

The doctor seemed annoyed that I had said no to having her "shadow" come into the room. She had little interest in hearing my symptoms and seemed to have a pre-determined diagnosis. When I mentioned a particular symptom, in a list of symptoms I was naming to I've give her an overall picture, she stopped me and said that a particular symptom was the responsibility of another type of physician, missing the point, and then dismissing everything else based on that. She rolled her eyes a lot, shook her head while I was speaking, generally looking at her computer and sighed frequently. Got annoyed when I referred to a mineral as a vitamin, looked away, rolled her eyes and sighed heavily. Generally combative and dismissive. I wish I had read the reviews before seeing her.

Terrible communication skills and service. I would never use this doctor again or refer anyone to her.
