Dr. Suhail Khuzema Kanchwala, MD

There are a ton of fantastic breast, reconstruction plastic surgeons out there. But when I assembled my cancer care team, I purposefully chose each and every doctor based on their track record, patient reviews, and their compassion. Dincluding Dr. Kanchwala in that care team was a great decision. I have been a patient since having a double mastectomy almost a year ago, while I have not had full reconstruction surgery as yet, Dr. K is always willing to take the time to listen to my concerns- I send messages in the portal and he personally responds to all. I’ve made random appointments just to talk about the details, again and again, like the fat and the sagging skin, and he’s always willing to listen and promises that in the end it will all look fantastic. I believe him. he doesn’t just do the job, but he is very thoughtful and artistic in his approach. He wants to help a breast cancer survivor feel good and look good in the best way possible. I definitely appreciate that.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kanchwalla's since my diagnosis of breast cancer 3 years ago. Dr. Kanchwalla did an amazing job with my reconstructive surgery after bilateral mastectomies. When I visit other doctor's that have seen the work, they are amazed at how "normal" they look. They have also stated that they have never seen reconstruction look this good. His bedside manner is phenomenal. He takes the time to listen to you and is kind and caring. I would recommend anyone to Dr. Kanchwalla.

Dr. Kanschwala is an awesome doctor, he is very kind and does great work.

Dr Kanschwala is a very nice man but my surgery by him did not turn out well. I am 4 years out from my breast reconstruction and my stomach is distended and I look several months pregnant at age 66. This was Diep flap reconstruction and the result is supposed to be a flat stomach. Not so. My life has been permanently altered in a negative way.

Dr. Kanchwala is an excellent surgeon. He is kind and compassionate. A real artist...
