Dr. Sujatha Krishnan, MD

I visited Dr Sujatha Krishnan. She claimed she could not do anything to support with persistent Covid infection, and refused to help with respiratory pseudomonas aeruginosa infection. She claimed she couldn't do anything a "regular" physician can do, and then refused to prescribe a lymphocyte subpanel. She also refused to write me an accommodation note. She was rude, dismissive, and condescending the whole time. She did not offer me a single service besides about 10 minutes of her telling me she would not do anything to help me and insulting me on top of that. She openly cast doubt on my lab results from another doctor showing my pseudomonas infection and acted surprised when I told her I had the classic "sweet breath smell" symptom of it. She apparently did not know that is a sign of pseudomonas. She did not offer me antibiotics and now I think I might have pseudomonas permanently colonized in my lungs as every time I sneeze, the classic sickeningly sweet smell of pseudomonas rears… itself. I highly doubt her "specialty" in infectious disease as it seemed like I knew more than her about both of these diseases. Her office is filthy as it appears many frequently touched surfaces have not been cleaned in a very long time (visible grime covered the doors) which is shocking for an office that regularly fields contagious clients. It makes me wonder what precautions they are taking to prevent nosocomial infections, if any. They also have outdated informational posters lining their walls last I was there. This is one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a doctor office visit. I highly question the "expertise" of this person and their business. I can't believe they made me pay them for such an insulting mistreatment of myself. I highly recommend finding a different doctor which a greater knowledge/expertise and bedside manners and common courtesy who will actually offer help instead of wasting your time paying someone to repeatedly insult you and your intelligence and have the audacity to charge you for it. If you like having someone ignorant of your conditions insult your intelligence and refuse to provide meaningful support then by all means book an appointment with them. Take her at her word and just visit your regular physician instead of her if she can't seem to do anything a "regular" physician can't do.
