They don't care about their patients.They're unbelievably slow in communicating back,if at all.You'll need to call 20x to get a response,by then you'll be out of your Rx. They'll make you take unnecessary tests just to make more money,even when you took the test from the state website.They'll give you a complete runaround having you submit the results from test you took,fill out release of info leading you to believe they are proceeding forward,only to tell you a mo later they wont do it unless you pay them&take the test through them.If you express yourself theyll block you from their site.If you leave an honest review,they'll lie in their response to fit their narrative.Take heed, choose another Dr or you WILL regret it&WILL experience yourself.People are leaving honest reviews, believe them.As for + reviews its only matter of time.I didnt believe at 1st&look where it got me.You'll be the next one leaving a 1 star review & reporting to the better business bureau.He's a careless crook.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PROVIDER! DR VARMA HAS THE WORST OFFICE STAFF MANAGER NAMED LEAH C WHO LACKS COMPASSION AND EMPATHY AND SHOULDN’T BE WORKING IN THIS KIND OF SETTING! VARMA USE TO BE WONDERFUL BUT ONCE HE WENT TO HIS NEW PRACTICE WITH LEAH BEING THE MAIN OFFICE MANAGER I WOULD NOT TRUST THIS DOCTOR OR PRACTICE WITH MY LIFE! They threw me away when we needed their help. My 13 year old child attempted suicide and they had no compassion or empathy to understand that as a mother I needed to be written out of work due to this triggering my own past trauma in which varma diagnosed me with PTSD (years prior) but instead of simply doing the paperwork my company requested they decided it was too much work so they terminated me as a patient. Leah Clausen you should be ashamed of yourself for treating his patients so horribly. I quit that office because of YOU and because of Varma. He broke HIPPA on several occasions and over medicated my 10 year old child with medication NOT FDA APPROVED FOR… KIDS! Her pediatrician discovered this when she had serious medical complications for weeks. He said oh sorry let try something else. Keep in mind the only reason he tried that medication on my 10 year old is because he looked at the file of my then 19 year old (HIPPA VIOLATION) to see what he had prescribed them and made the decision to put my 10 year old on the same medication as my 19 year old. I referred over 10 people there and most of them have left because they literally HATE his office staff. He also broke HIPPA with 2 of my friends and my ex fiancé by telling me the medication they were on. Varma use to be the best doctor but when he joined this place his human compassion and empathy for his patients went down the toilet! Again I would not trust my life in this doctors hands. I trusted my daughters and his error made her sick for weeks. I trusted him to be here for me when I needed him most and when I couldn’t even function because of the triggering events which took place and stirred up the medical diagnosis varma gave me of PTSD years before. What kind of place does this. What kind of DR treats their patients of 10 years like that. What kind of Dr lacks human compassion empathy and basic human decency! Dr Varma is this person! LEAH CLAUSEN IS THIS PERSON! Mental health is my number on fight and I will NOT stop posting these reviews and sharing my horrible story with others until this provider owns up to their mistake and or eliminates the horrible office manager. Dr. Varma suddenly reduced to 2/3 and then equally suddenly stopped prescribing my life-dependent medication altogether—medicine that, according to the pharmacist, requires a taper-down time of many months, not the 2-3 days that I was given. Dr. Varma’s inappropriate prescribing and nearly instant stop of all medication for me put my life at risk, threw me into a major crisis, and I have yet to recover months later. Avoid this doctor and his horrible staff at all costs!

Very smart individual with unparalleled experience. Unlike many doctors that get stuck in their ways and simply look at each patient, diagnosis, and treatment through the "lense" of past experience, while taking the minimum amount of continuing education courses required for licensing, Dr. Varma strives to stay on the forefront of research. This is an area of interest of mine, and Dr. Varma will discuss or email with me about new research articles, ongoing studies, etc...He understands that each patient is different and treats them all with the approach that works best for their needs. Most importantly, he shows a level of compassion that is missing in far too many doctors. While many doctors recklessly start and stop patients on medications, treating them like lab rats, Dr. Varma understands the long term impact many medications can have and is well trained in the titration and discontinuation of medications. I utilized his expertise when I had back to back extensive surgeries to… ensure that I did not have any issue getting off of the high level of pain medication that was needed. He was able to help me quickly and comfortably discontinue all medications. I couldn't recommend him more highly.

I have been a patient of Dr.Varma for almost two years now he's compassionate , and very understanding. I really respect his attention to his patient's personal needs. He'll have my respect for as long as I have him on my side...

As a long time patient of Dr. Varma I have come to appreciate his willingness to listen and engage with you regardless of my frenzied delivery of current psycho-social needs. Not only is he at the top of his field in continuing and expanding his areas of expertise he also engages with you in a very humble and personal way. If you’ve had bad experiences with psychiatric care in the past I would advise you to reset your view of the discipline and go to an individual who represents what psychiatry can deliver when done with integrity and person centered care.

Dr. Varma created a plan to help me with my transition from drug dependency to healing. I've worked with Dr. Varma for 2 years and have been very happy. He set goals, provided me insight and support through the process of tapering down from a high dose to a low dose of subaxone. I highly recommend him to everyone!

Over the last 10 years+ since I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder I have worked with countless Doctors and Therapists without much success. But Dr. Varma has given me my life back. He is very polite and enjoyable to work with. He has a calming demeanor and is not pretentious even though it is obvious he is very intelligent. He does a great job of listening and makes me feel very comfortable. He is willing to think outside of the box for people like me who have had a history of mediocre success with the normal range of standard treatments and medications. I wish I would have met him 10 years ago.

In a perfect world, every physician would be as knowledgeable and compassionate as Dr. Varma. I give him the very highest of recommendations. Thank you Dr. Varma ~ you are truly THE BEST !
