Dr. Kalmadi joined Ironwood Cancer and Research Centers in 2008. After finishing his medical schooling in India, Dr. Sujith Kalmadi completed his residency training and fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. He then served as academic clinical faculty at the Cleveland Clinic School of Medicine (Lerner School) in Cleveland, Ohio and subsequently at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. During his tenure at these prestigious institutions, he pioneered several novel clinical research trials which have been lauded at national scientific meetings and published in peer reviewed journals. His areas of clinical and research interests include several solid tumors and hematological disorders. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology.

Dr Kalmadi is phenomenal and the smartest doctor I have ever dealt with. I would only use him as an Oncology dr; he is that amazing and quickly treats you so you can fight your cancer.

Has an extremely busy practice from our experience, however takes plenty of interest and gives personal care. My sister lost her insurance during her treatment due to not being able to work and dr. Kalmadi continued to see her WITHOUT charge for 3 months. Thankfully she was able to regain her medical insurance and has finished her treatment successfully and hopefully is completely cured. Kudos and thanq.

Told me the different options, then selected a tablet with no intravenous chemotherapy which had the highest chance of cure for my rectal cancer. Have now finished the initial treatment with complete response and am now awaiting surgery for the big CURE. Thank you...........you rock.

went to him through our primary care physician who spoke highly of him based on his prior experience. Was extremely happy with his caring personality, knowledge and efficiency. We had previously been to a newly opened cancer center based on their advertisement and got lost in the system there where nobody took charge.
