Dr. Shah is wonderful and takes the time to examine his patients thoroughly and spend time discussing their unique medical issues. He's well trained and knowledgeable.

Recently, I had my first appointment with Dr. Shah and was very satisfied with my experience. I found that Dr. Shah is an extremely attentive, professional, highly skilled and a genuinely compassionate physician. When my test results were completed, Dr. Shah called to explain and review the results to me. After leaving my previous Endocrinologist, I feel fortunate to have retained the services of Dr. Shah.

I have been suffering with hypothyroidism for years now. I was diagnosed in 2014. My thyroid hormone levels have never been within optimal range, and after switching to his practice, I'm doing so much better and my levels are normal now. I've had unfortunate experiences with other endocrinologists in the past who were not as attentive. He listened to my concerns and was not dismissive of some complaints that I've had in the past. As a result, I am in normal range, and I'm feeling great. It is so hard to find a doctor you are compatible with. I can tell that he is truly passionate about what he does. He calls in to go over results and concerns. The staff there are also all friendly!!

About 5 or 6 months ago, Dr Shah took over the patients of Dr Lamothe in Westfield NJ when Dr Lamothe moved out of state. I don't question his knowledge or expertise, but as of today, he is basically running 2 practices (one in Edison, one in Westfield), and he is doing so exceptionally poorly. I left a message with a live receptionist 3 times in the course of 3 weeks, to talk with Dr Shah about changing my prescription (my insurance was no longer covering the one I was taking). Neither Dr Shah nor any of his secretaties ever got back to me. Finally, I went to the office in person, and the secretaries did everything they could to get my message thru to the doctor. Another week after that, I still got no communication from him. This doctor has done a grave disservice to me due to his inexcusable negligence. I now have to start with yet another new doctor. Don't waste your time with Dr Shah.

Dr. Shah is an excellent Doctor. He is very knowledgable in his field. He takes his time with you and is willing to answer all your questions. I would strongly recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Shah is a skilled practitioner, and extremely thorough. He is easy to talk to, clearly explains his diagnosis, and answers any questions. He personally calls and explains test results. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Sr. Shah was very thorough and complete in taking medical history and symptoms. He is patient and I did not feel rushed.

We got an appointment after due negotiation with the staff, for after 3 weeks, from the date of call. We were stuck in traffic and reached 10 mins late, and note that we had called ahead about the delay, but Dr. and his staff refused to take us in. He had a no-show after our appointment, still he refused to see us, as he had to leave at 5, asking us to resked for after 1 month. So, for being 10 mins late, I have 2 wait 2 months, for a possibly life-threatening condition. Doctors like these are a disgrace to the medical community who no compassion over the patients problems. Doctors with attitudes like Dr. Suketu Shah, contribute to what we call a rusting american medical system.

He didn't bother to go over my details properly. He couldn't diagnose the issue and didn't make any suggestion. I wonder whether he is a real specalist in endocronology.I would never recommend this doctor.
