Dr. Sultana Razia, MD

My father received care under the oncologist Dr. Sultana Razia. Dr. Razia neglected to communicate the progression of my father's cancer diagnosis based on the results of a CT scan that she ordered. My mother had to inquire about the prognosis of my father's disease -- Dr. Razia was not forthcoming with this information and never once communicated the prognosis to the patient himself. Dr. Razia is an illegitimate oncologist who does not uphold her professional responsibilities of communicating honestly with her patients and their families. She is unwilling to face her own failure when a patient of hers ends up in hospice and therefore does not communicate the reality of the situation. In the case of my father, her lack of communication and her unprofessionalism resulted in significant emotional and physical distress. If you are in need of oncological care, please go to Syracuse or seek medical professionals outside of the Utica area so that your family does not have to suffer… in the same way that my family has suffered!

She is extremely kind and truly cares about her patients. She takes her time and listen to all the patient's concerns. She is an absolutely wonderful doctor.

I would certainly tell a friend to go to Dr Razia. She kept me very informed of my diagnosis and treatment.

We are fortunate to have her at Slocum Dickson clinic she is a brilliant doctor that is compassionate and kind. I would highly recommend her. I have doctored with her as well as my mother.
