I had an extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience with Dr. “A.” Even the way she introduced herself felt vague and evasive — she only called herself “Dr. A,” which immediately struck me as ambiguous and unusual for a medical professional. Unfortunately, the rest of the appointment reflected the same lack of clarity and care. My cleaning was rushed, incomplete, and performed with minimal effort. She left visible tartar behind, and when I returned for a follow-up — because she refused to communicate by phone — she became irritated the moment I pointed out the areas that were still dirty. When it became clear that the tartar could be removed, despite her repeatedly telling me it was “calculus that can’t come off,” she became defensive, raised her voice, and told me to speak to the office manager for a refund instead of completing the cleaning. She also told me I had five cavities, which multiple other dentists later confirmed was not true. This raises serious concerns about… accuracy and integrity. The appointment itself felt sloppy and careless: water was dripping down my chest, the cleaning was rushed, and she seemed disengaged. She even referred me to an outside provider for a night guard, despite her own office offering them. Everything felt inconsistent and unprofessional. What disturbed me most was what happened afterward. When I saw another doctor in the same practice — who provided excellent, thorough care — Dr. “A” actually came into the room and looked me down. It felt inappropriate and unprofessional, especially after the way she had treated me. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Dr. “A.” Patients deserve someone who is competent, respectful, and willing to provide complete care — not someone who rushes, deflects, and becomes hostile when asked reasonable questions. Thankfully, another doctor in the office was able to help me, which only highlighted how inadequate my experience with her had been.
