Had an appointment with her because my regular dr. was not available last year . I am a senior and always have good insurances which I have never had issues . I got a collection notice of $97. Insurance denied because Dr sun stated the visit was medically unnecessary. I normally don't go to Drs if I don't have to since I am a RN myself..I called her office numerous times . She insisted that the visit was unnecessary. What a caring doctor she is! I don't recommend Dr.Sum Cheung.

I was referred to Dr Cheung by my OB doc and recently had a laparoscopic assisted vaginal assisted hysterectomy and I was very nervous,anxious scared and everything in between. After the surgery she updated some of family who were out of state via a conference call and as others stated she explained everything and has excellent bed side manner. I had minimal pain and was able to drive within 4 days. I would recommend her for your OB needs

I visited Dr. Cheung for my prenatal care during my last pregnancy. She is by far the best doctor I've ever had. I never once felt rushed through an appointment, she always was very sincere when listening to any concerns I had, and I felt that she genuinely cared for me on a personal level. She was awesome at helping me with some post delivery complications I highly recommend Dr. Cheung.

In a group setting at Loma Linda, there is a responsible physician present 24/7 for deliveries and OB emergencies (he or she may not be your personal doctor, but they care for YOU, a patient in their group). THIS IS the safest! Oftentimes in the community setting and elsewhere there are NO doctors around when patients are laboring, they come in from home or office to delivery their patients. They really are not around through the labor process. When it comes to safety, Loma Linda has it right!

Attention all pregnant women going to the FMO for prenatal care; your doctor will NOT be there when you go into labor. Your doctor is only on call 3 days a month and chances are you will not go into labor during those 3 days. They have one attending doctor on call for 24 hours to attend to all the women that go into labor within that 24 hours. I gave birth there and it was the worst experience I have ever had. There were 10 women in labor at the same time and the doctor just could not be in the 10 rooms at the same time. For the safety of you and your child please go to an outside doctor. Sure it may cost a little more, but your doctor will be there for you (and only you)when go into labor. If I knew then what I know now, I would have gone to an outside doctor.
