Dr. Suma Reddy Kaki, MD

I have high hopes when I saw her because I thought that she was great. But she will use higher level of code to get bigger reimbursement. I came in for annual physical well exam but she charged me as a new patient. I am new in her office but it is a well exam. Why would you use a higher level of code if the patient came in for annual preventative exam? So if you are a new patient in this practice, do not come in for annual physical exam thinking that it will be covered by your insurance. She will charge you to the highest level to get bigger reimbursement. She will not answer the insurance company's all and she will start yelling at you saying, "I do not care what your insurance company says! I am not changing my bill! It is done, it is finished!". Do not believe the office or their billing company when they say that they will fix it. It is only the doctor who can amend the code and she will not listen to the patient or the insurance company. I bet the she will not have any problem… changing the bill if she forgot to charge me for a cotton ball.

All in all great experience

I was seeing Dr. Kaki for a few years. She is a nice doctor. The only problem why I am switching doctors is because I was charged a no show fee. Usually the staff contacts you with a reminder...which I requested. I never got a follow up and at the time of my appointment, and I was called at the time of my appointment by doctor Kaki's staff asking if I was coming. With no reminder, of course I could not make my appointment. I apologized and rescheduled. Within a month, I was charged a $25.00 no show fee. My wife called trying to mention I never got a phone call as a reminder, and the staff in her office said they would call back...which they Never did! When I went to the next appointment I scheduled, there was a hassle with taking off the $25 charge. I told Dr. Kaki if I was going to have to pay the fee, I would take my BCBS PPO elsewhere. I was told then, "go ahead". Her office manager reminded me that "Even if we call you to remind you of your appointment, it is only as a… courtesy, so even if we don't call, your still responsible for showing, reminder or not! Wow, for $25 you would think it would be waived since they could of made 1,000's off of me and my insurance for keeping me as a patient. Additionally, I called the doctor's office a few days before hand asking for a script for my high blood pressure a few days earlier prior to my appointment and the doctor refused to have my script sent in till I seen her. I have great insurance, and doctors are a dime a dozen.

She was very caring person, took time to get to know me and listened to my problems and gave simple good solutions to prevent in future. Also called me to follow upI highly recommend her.

I am so glad we found Dr. Kaki. I have visited 8 doctors in last 10 years in an Around BolingBrook and RomeoVille. I found Dr. Kaki to be most reliable, Caring, experienced and most importantly accessible. My Family loves her ... Great doctor and
