Dr. Suma Oommen, MD

I rarely write reviews but feel my experience may help others. If you're symptoms are simple & you're ONLY looking for natural remedies, Dr. Oommen may be a good fit for you. I found it was very difficult to her to listen to my concerns. I explained significant symptoms & they were all minimized, without any attempt to check my requests. She presented with an unwavering perspective that she IS right & there was nothing that could be done about my symptoms. That's how it was left.

I booked an appointment at 10:00 am this morning to see Dr. Suma Oommen MD for a 1:30 p.m. office visit. I show up to the Medical building and at 1:25 while I'm in the parking lot I get a call from the receptionist telling me there was a mistake and they can not see me due to the Dr not being in my area? I have Anthem PPO and confirmed my member number over the phone with the office in the morning when I booked the appointment. I received a conformation email for the appointment. I spent close to an hour driving to the appointment and took time off work. This is very unprofessional. To top it off when I questioned how this happen I was informed the Dr office is taking a loss too since they could not book the hours I was not there. Unreal. I need to see a Dr and am scrambling to re-book now with anyone. Shame on this Dr for her poorly managed office.
