Dr. Sumaira Ahmed, MD

Very carrying and experienced doctor.

Dr Ahmed has forgotten the reasons why she prescribed medications with 3 different prescriptions leaving me not very confident in her decision making. She’s also mistakenly dropped the extended release off a mood stabilizer which resulted in a 10 day inpatient stay to stabilize and when her office was asked about it they said it must’ve been on purpose but wasn’t discussed in the appointment and wasn’t anywhere in her notes. When seeing other providers while she’s out they don’t know what she’s doing or why and admit that her notes are incomplete and unclear. She either doesn’t care or needs medical attention of her own and it is impacting her job. She forgets why she’s prescribed things, can’t refer to her own notes about what meds we’ve already tried or what affect they had, and didn’t prepare files to be teen temporarily taken over by a colleague before going on vacation. She’s not capable of making sure that the health conditions she’s treating are actually being treated let alone… monitored.
