Dr. Sumam Marion Abraham, MD

First off,she has 0 bed side manor ! Had absolutely no clue who I was until the end of my appointment. She was more concerned with getting me to change from my rheumatologist at polyclinic to kaiser! Mind you I was in tears because of the pain I was in. She never even offered me a tissue. Just continued with the whole changing rheumatologists rant. I just wanted to know if this was a lupus flair or something else. High I have an extremely high pain tolerance, and had been in tears for multiple days at this point. I was getting prettty concerned as to what exactly was going on in my body, to cause such excruciating pain. Nor did she check my joints or send me for blood work! Smh she just sent me home and told me to take “her special cocktail” ib profen, and Tylenol. By the time I left I had coughed multiple times,she asked no questions about the cough. Didn’t even check my breathing (she didn’t even bring in her stethoscope. This is my life, she’s playing with and having a doctor that… looks after you, and listens to you is so important. If I end up in the ER because of her inability to do her job. This will get ugly! Very disappointed.

Dr. Abraham has been my doctor for about 5 years and she has always been prompt in responding to emails, takes time in my actual face to face appointments and genuinely seems to care. She doesn't hesitate to make referrals to specialists if it's needed either! Her support staff are also vey considerate.
