very bad doctor with little or no follow up.

I have a family member in the nursing home, I have called Dr. Patel on and off for two years, no reply and no return call. I see his rating is very poor. Brings me to the questions why is the state of California paying him to oversee patients that depend on "Medicare ". He should be removed and placed with a doctor who has some integrity about himself and most of all concern for the patients that he see

I have a family member in the nursing home, I have called Dr. Patel on and off for two years, no reply and no return call. I see his rating is very poor. Brings me to the questions why is the state of California paying him to oversee patients that depend on "Medicare ". He should be removed and place a doctor who has some integrity about himself and some concern for the patient.

This Doctor does not listen to the answer of the question he just asked. Dr. Patel does not return phone calls in a timely manner. Unfortunately, he was assigned by the hospital. He would never be a choice of mine!

Spends a lot of time with the patients. Gives good care.
