Dr. Sumeet Kaur Anand, MD

I have been seeing Dr Anand for at least ten years now and have been very satisfied with her. just had a visit on Feb 10, 2023. She is very compassionate and takes the time to listen to any concerns you have. I never had any trouble in getting any appointments, her staff has always been kind, they speak with you politely. you don't feel like your speaking to a robot. they call to follow up on how you're doing & if you need medications. I trust & have alot of respect for her. She definitely guides me in the right direction of my health care. I have already recommended her to my friends. I am very happy I was recommended by a dear friend of mine.

not compassionate at all, they all act like theyre doing you a favor when they should be happy to help

She’s never on time. You end up waiting more than an hour for a 5 minute check up. She’s cold. Not compassionate. Don’t waste your time booking an appointment. Front desk staff not friendly at all. I waited an hour to see her and I could hear here laughing with a friend. She’s the worst. So unprofessional

I had an extremely positively experience with Dr. Anand after a 6 month long ordeal at a big name hospital in Mineola. I went to her when I was very sick (which she told me was a Lupus (SLE) flare and its accompanying complications). Dr. Anand was very quick and resourceful in diagnosing me, and finding me the right specialists. Once I got better and decided a few things in my care, she gave me her honest opinion and reviewed my course of action, and helped me to make some critical decision in my healthcare plan. Things I like about Dr. Anand: - Resourceful - the way she helped me with my flares and make sure I get to the right specialists and on time, calling the specialist personally on their cell phones to see me the same day. - Quick decisions - I like her pace and quick decision-making - Empathetic, and gives honest feedback - I think this is the best quality I like in her, she is honest and fact based. - Knowledge - the previous big-name hospital I was… going to could not diagnose me for over 6 months, and sending me from one department to another, made me suffer w.o any diagnosis, and also did a simple biopsy on me (and charged the insurance games close to a 70K for it). My husband found Dr. Anand on the internet. he explained my severe condition and Dr. Anand saw us the very next day or a day after. We gave all the information and test etc we had. She moved quickly to find the best care at that moment for me. Long story short, many thanks to Dr. Anand, - I recovered from a near fatal flareup, - am stable, - now am seeing some of the finest specialists on the east coast, - have the best primary care (in her), and - she and her team have been instrumental in me not being a victim of the broken a healthcare system, and have worked at my quick pace. Dr. Anand is not only my primary care, but is also an empthetic well-wisher, advisor and confidant.

If there’s something really wrong with you, don’t waste your time. She’s heartless and tries to convince you that your symptoms are all in your head.

Doctor Anand was the worst physician I have ever encountered. She will never examine you, everything could be done over skype. Dr. Anand also did not like how many questions I was asking and asked me to find a new physician. Do not disagree or push back on her opinions or find yourself a new doctor.

first visit with her and it went very well.I thought she was very thorough.Appeared kind and considerate.It was the first time I saw her but I'm pretty sure I will continue with her.

I have found Dr.Anand to be very compassionate and knowledgeable. I have had issues with other doctors because I am overweight by 40lbs their answer to everything is "your obese, lose weight and you"ll be fine. Dr. Anand really listens!
