Dr. Sumit Kumar Katyal, MD

Dr Katyal was referred to me by a neurologist for my trigeminal neuralgia. I have had great experience for the last 3 years that I have been a patient. He listens to me and offers effective ways to control my pain. He has performed nerve blocks and RFA which helps control my pain along with my medication. Dr Katyal also helped when I had messed up my back and performed the surgery for my spinal cord pain stimulator. I drive hour and half for the visit or procedure. It is hard to find an doctor that cares and listens to you and this office does just that.

My experience at Dr.Katyal’s office started off bad. I called about 7 times before someone called me back for an appointment, when I arrived for my appointment I waited over an hr before I was seen and then he rushed my appointment and made me feel like I was lying about my pain. That was my first and last appointment with this doctor. His staff have been calling me for a payment. I mentioned that I recently lost my job due to COVID but they were not compassionate at all. My current doctor is much more understanding during these tough time and advised to to write a review.

When I was first referred to Dr. Katyal, I was nervous because of horror stories I had heard about concerning others experience with Pain Specialists.
