Dr. Sumita Sinha, MD

Sumita (Bobbie) Sinha, MD, joins the Montefiore Division of Pulmonary Medicine, with advanced training in critical care. She is also an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Sinha’s clinical interests include treating and educating patients who suffer from asthma. Her focus will be working with primary care physicians, allergists, pediatric pulmonologists and other specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans. She will evaluate patient risks for asthma exacerbation, educating patients about environmental triggers and designing a course of action to help each patient manage the disease. In addition to her work with asthma patients, Dr. Sinha treats patients with other pulmonary diseases, such as sarcoidosis, interstitial lung disease and pulmonary complications of organ transplant.

Dr. Sinha is licensed to practice medicine in New York.
