Summer Bass, CRNP

Summer has been an employee within Baptist Health for the past ten years; however, she has over 14 years of nursing experience. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Auburn University of Montgomery in 2004. In December 2011, she graduated with her Master’s in Nursing from the University of South Alabama. She is certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a family nurse practitioner and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. She is also a member of the Advanced Practitioners of the River Region. Since April 2012, Summer has been providing prenatal care through the model of centering healthcare. She is excited to continue offering this model of care in addition to joining the team at Central Alabama Women’s Care. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, taking Pilates, and spending time with husband, daughter and their three dogs.
