I love my job! Creating beautiful smiles for my patients to love is a wonderfully rewarding experience to me.
To have the fortune and privilege of treating patients in the South Bay community I call home makes it all the more special.
It was here where I met my husband, Matt, where we were married (American Martyrs) and where we are raising our daughters, Ahnika and Tegan.
I am truly blessed!
The Founding of Summer Orthodontics
My vision for Summer Orthodontics is the result of years of education and experience.
As a California native enduring Philadelphia winters for my orthodontic residency, the dream of an office with a view of the Pacific ocean motivated me through cold, winter nights.
As a practicing orthodontist, the importance of staying current on the latest advances in orthodontics has been a top priority. Today's orthodontic treatment is truly amazing. Every year there are new advances being made. I make sure I have the most up-to-date training to achieve the …best possible results.
As a mom, I know the value of every patient's and parent's time. Our Office goes to great lengths to respect everyone's time throughout the treatment process. The treatment plans of Summer Orthodontics are designed to progress our patients along as efficiently as possible. Additionally, the office environment helps reduce stress through its design and by encouraging excitement in patients to attend appointments.
As a professional caregiver, it is very important to me to answer all questions and explain my treatment plans every step of the way. Choosing the right treatment plan is a big decision and can potentially cause anxiety. My job is to minimize this stress by arming patients and parents with the knowledge they need to make the best possible decisions.
As a health advocate, I enjoy practicing healthy choices in my personal and professional life. In my free time, I enjoy yoga & pilates and preparing healthy meals with my family. My focus on healthy choices is the foundation for Sustainable Smiles.
