Dr. Sumner Andrew Slavin, MD

I had breast augmentation 16 years ago with Sumner Slavin. After my surgery, my breasts were two different sizes. They were not different sizes before my surgery. He removed my areolas to insert the implants, so, I have had permanent scars around my areolas since. I had my breasts corrected in 2017 by another doctor. She was speechless as to why he would have inserted the implants through my areolas and when I requested my medical records to be sent to her office before my surgery, his office would not comply, and his secretary was rude when I called to follow up on my records request- as if requesting a copy of medical records was not a normal thing to do. My breasts are still slightly different sizes, but they are better than when Sumner Slavin operated on me. In my opinion, he is the worst doctor I have ever had. I personally do not recommend him.

Great doctor! Very happy with my results.

I saw Dr. Slavin as a 70 year old woman who was very small in stature with large breasts. I was suffering from neck and shoulder pain, discomfort from bras that had to be well structured as well as falling victim to numerous fungal infections under my breasts that were hard to treat. Dr. Slavin was understanding and gave me hope that a breast reduction could, very possibly, reduce the discomfort I was experiencing. I am now 8 months past surgery and I am symptom free. Dr. Slavin was patient in explaining all procedures. I always felt he had my safety at heart. After surgery he saw me for 4 followup appointments. I was to learn that this was usual for him but not usual in the post surgical world. His staff, Karen and Francesca, were not only respectful and courteous but often gave me personal attention about preparation and paper work. I highly recommend Dr. Slavin and his practice

Venal, Unethical, and Racist towards doctors of different ethnic backgrounds, I would be remiss to recommend such a 'small-minded' man with a tremendous Napoleonic complex. Perhaps breasts are his speciality but any other part of the body --- run away as fast as you can.. This is why he has never been able to become anything but an "Adjunct" at the worst hospital in town.

Dr Slavin is a wonderful doctor and I cannot say enough about the diligent one on one treatment I received with my procedures. He personally walked me through everything that could be expected and the different outcomes as well as options for me to chose from with the corrections I wanted. The office staff was courteous and I will be going back to see Dr Slavin for additional help once I have healed up. Thank you to Dr Slavin and his staff for helping me heal quickly and safely.

My daughter is 20 years old. Her left breast was two sizes smaller than her right. Initially, at age 17, before being introduced and knowing about Dr. Slavin, we went to a Dr. closer to our area (Vermont/New Hampshire). She performed a breast augmentation on my daughter's smaller breast, and put in an implant. The result was very unsatisfactory, and definitely deemed the necessity for further surgeries. That is when we met Dr. Slavin. He was recommended to us by another Dr. in his field, who knew of his highly skilled work. He has performed surgery twice on my daughter. Once to correct the previous surgeons mistakes, which was multifaceted, and left her with a breast that was near perfect (obviously no breast is perfect). We knew at some point she would need to have her right breast (the one without an implant) lifted to match the left one. He just performed that surgery for her, and she now has two beautiful breasts that match. I can not begin to tell you how grateful we are… to Dr. Slavin. His expertise in his field, and his wonderful disposition and personality made both experiences wonderful. He followed up, and talked to us personally each time. He truly cares about his patients, and is extremely skilled. My daughter is a beautiful girl, and to see her so sad about her breasts at 17 years old broke my heart. He gave her all her confidence back, and she is so happy. I would highly recommend Sumner Slavin to anyone looking for an expert to help correct any problems that require plastic surgery.

Cannot day enough about this wonderful doctor! Like most of his patients, I have been “with” Dr. Slavin for many years. His work is impeccable-I have never had a complication or been unhappy- the results speak for themselves! Thank-you, Dr. Slavin!

Dr. Sumner Slavin is very kind and caring. I was very please with my breast augmentation. He is fantastic!! Sure you might have to wait but he is well worth it.

I had a breast reduction. Dr. Slavin is amazing! I am very happy with the results. Listened carefully to any concerns I had, easy recovery. Does run a little late, but well worth the wait. Would highly recommend.
