Dr. Suncica Volkov, MD

I've been seeing Dr. Volkov for about 2 years. My only major complaint is the lack of available appointments and the wait time but, that having been said, even if she's behind, she never rushes through the appointment.

Once I began to question her about changing my medication to a medication I have tried and didn't work, she told me I was addicted to my current medication (that I had been taking for 1 month!) and became very accusatory.While my hope was to change my medication because I was tired of treating the symptoms of my bursitis, when it is a very curable problem, I did not want to go back to being in complete pain all day. So I said I was unsure about her plan and I asked about surgery or other possible medications but she was done with the conversation. She refused to answer anymore questions and actually told me she was going to call security when I started to cry.
