Dr Patel preformed a heart surgery in DEC and left a towel in side my brothers chest.. it took 3 hospitals and a severe sepsis leading to amputation to find this error. We asked countless times why my brother had an ongoing daily fever for 2 months they brushed us off, they noted "unknown fever" treated him with every antibiotic possible. He had 18 chest images preformed where the towel was noted "unknown lesion" but never once spoke of, noted , NOTHING to save my brothers life. Frustration set in and he took him to another hospital, unfortunately it was related to the same hospital we left....Fearful after another month of fever, that he would die.... we privately paid to take him to MAYO where on night one they did an xray ....found the towel ....removed it and began treating the sepsis. My brother unfortunately lost his leg from the hospital inflicted bed sores and sepsis and had to amputate .... THIS IS A TERRIBLE IRRESPONSIBLE LIFE THREATENING MISTAKE never apologized for
