Dr. Sundeep Singh

I would recommend to stay away from him. At my last appointment he acted like he was annoyed and irritated with me. Dismissed every point I was trying to share with him, was extremely condescending and refused to do a deeper analysis/tests I was asking for. Rushed through an appointment without making an eye contact and I left feeling disappointed and hopeless. Now back to square one, looking for a competent doctor who can actually offer solutions and answers. Pretty awful experience :(

Wow, this was one of the worst experiences I ever had with a doctor. Rude, condescending and incompetent. I don't even know where to begin since every interaction with him left me infuriated. He didn't listen, didn't help with any questions, and on top of everything charged over $700 for a 10 min phone consultation where he recommended breathing exercises in response to my complains about stomach pain and gas. What?! Absolutely awful!

Dr. Singh sat behind me and grilled me about my health, my life. I was referred to him by my oncologist who wanted me to get a handle on my small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO). I was informed by Singh the Stanford does not believe in SIBO. I informed Singh that I was looking for someone who is familiar with Invasive Lobular Carcinoma (due to it's possible metastasis to the GI tract) as well as SIBO. To follow me, to make sure nothing is overlooked. I had not been to a GI doctor in over 2 years. He informed me I have IBS. Informed me based on scans in '14, '15, '18 that I am fine, and that I should seek Psychological help, and Chinese medicines. This is not why I went to see him. I went to see him because Nutrition is important. Eating is important. SIBO makes it very difficult to eat. My oncologist understands that Singh DOES NOT, and does not care. Cognitive Behavior Therapy is not going to cure my bacterial overgrowth and allow me to eat again Dr. Singh. This… man sat behind me and grilled me and had the gall to ask me why I was not looking him in the eye. I spoke up and told him I would have to crank my neck.

I was very sick for about 8 Weeks and had last over 50lbs. I had been given essentially a coin flip at living a normal life from the previous GI doctor I saw. After seeing Dr. Singh he changed all of the medication I was on and within 1 week I was 99% better. I have now gained all of my weight back, had no GI problems or flares and all of this is thanks to Dr. Singh. He is the best doctor I have ever seen and I feel that he truly saved my life. I recommend him to everyone.

Dr Singh reviewed my records, listened carefully to my medical complaints, and asked good followup questions. He suggested 6 possible treatments with a thorough discussion of costs, inconveniences, and chances of positive outcomes. I found him easy to communicate with and we finished with a pleasant conversation on another topic. The office staff (in Pleasanton) were friendly and helpful and my waiting time was zero.
