Dr. Sunee Sandy Woo, MD

She's impatient, very brusque, bordering on rude. Had I a choice, I wouldn't have chosen her as my surgeon.

Dr.Woo was unkind, impatient, and rude. She did not ask if I had any questions after the procedure. She requested that I speak with a manager, even though I did not ask to speak with one. She blatantly ignored me when I told her that I could feel pain in an area that was supposed to be numb. She accused me of yelling at her when I said I had never received this type of treatment before. I sincerely felt as if my comfort and well-being were not of any concern to her. She accused me of inconveniencing her other clients for arriving well within the appointment window. I waited for 15 minutes in the waiting room before I was seen. I then went back to prep for the procedure had nice small talk with the surgical assistant and used the bathroom. I returned to the room and Dr. Woo began badgering me about changing my appointment. She asked me about five times if I wanted to change the appointment. I said no every time. She then asked if I was okay and I told her that I was fine, but am now… agitated after having answered the same question multiple times. After I left the procedure I sat in my car and cried because I have never felt so unsafe and at the mercy of someone who literally had a scalpel in my back. She did not ask me any questions about my health and even ignored the surgical assistant when he tried to lighten the tension in the room. She then made blatant lies in the after procedure notes. I learned a lot through this experience, for one if I am that uncomfortable with a doctor, I will leave the table and request a new appointment with someone else. Also, I will request the presence of an assistant or someone else in the room at all times. She and I were alone each time we spoke, so she could literally say anything about our interactions even if they were completely false.
