Dr. Sunila Singh Walia, MD

I have been to Dr. Walia in both of her offices in McLean, Virginia, and now see her in Rockville, Maryland. I would follow her anywhere in the greater Washington DC area.

About 10 years ago my primary care physician recommended I see a dermatologist on a regular basis as I had significant sun exposure over the years; particular during childhood. I feel fortunate to have found Dr. Walia, who I have been seeing on a regular basis since then. She conducts a full body exam twice a year and has identified one skin cancer and several pre-cancers. She is very thorough and patiently listens to my concerns. I have confidence that Dr. Walia will keep my skin in good health for years to come. Jeff

I've been a patient of Dr. Walia for over 10 years. She's the kind of doctor you just know wants to help resolve the problem you're there for. She's always respectful and gentle and was wonderful with my special needs daughter. I highly recommend her to friends and family.

Dr. Walia treats several members of my extended family. She always takes whatever time is required to make sure that any medical issues are considered. I now live about about an hour away from McLean, but would never think of changing doctors! This site lists three locations, but Dr. Walia only has one. Computer is picking up previous addresses where her practice was located.

I have been a patient for Dr Walia’s the past 10 years and have been extremely happy. My three children and my in-laws also have been patients of hers for the past 10 years. My father-in-law who is in his 80s has been religious about going to her once a year to get his skin checked and she caught a mole that was cancerous and he had it removed immediately. If it was not for Dr Walia he would never would have caught it in time. She is wonderful for caring for her patients and is great on following up. She takes the time in her office to listen and really find the correct diagnosis for my skin and has made a significant difference in reversing the sun damage in my skin over the years. Dr. Sunny Walia is an excellent dermatologist. I see her several times a year for mole checks. Twice she has found melanomas on me -- that were overloked by other doctors!

I've been to see Dr. Walia for mole inspections and removal of said moles from my face and chest. She is always professional, tells it like it is, calls me afterward to make sure everything is healing as planned. The results have been perfect every time. I think she's top notch and I recommend her without qualification.

Three people in my family see Dr. Walia and all feel she is a caring and excellent physician.

Dr. Walia is an expert in her field. Knowledgeable, experienced, and capable are words that aptly describe the positive results of my visits to her office. I would highly recommend Dr. Walia.
