Dr. Sunita Parasher Gaur, MD

i've been going to ARC for like fifteen years. my favorite doctor left the practice, and I needed to be seen. first available was Sunita Gaur. cool. she berated me for the baby not wearing a coat. if she knew anything about safety, children should not wear coats while in a car seat, which the baby was. the baby had a blanket. Dr Gaur told me the baby was going to get sick, because it was cold outside. ma'am, you're a DOCTOR. don't you know how germs work? another visit, she berated me about an anxiety medication I had been on for ten years. i'm in her office, sobbing, begging her to refill an anxiety medication. she begrudgingly does, as i'm now having a panic attack. my last visit (aka the LAST visit), she condescendingly joked about my state of ill health. she literally said "you should be better and fine now." it's making me angry just thinking about it. the last straw was this week, requesting a refill on a medication. I asked for it on monday. followed up on… tuesday. again on wednesday. and thursday. made a second request thursday afternoon. followed up thursday night. sent a personal message. followed up friday morning. twice. and finally it was called in. i'm so glad to be rid of this doctor. she truly is a toxic person.

I think Dr. Gaur is a kind person but she was kind of short with me, which made it difficult for me to feel comfortable having a real conversation with her about my health concern. She is obviously very intelligent but the previous comment that she may have done better to go into research resonated with me in terms of my experience.
