Dr. Sunita Swamy, MD

Great doctor with a fantastic level of patience and knowledge. Highly recommend her, but the only downside, her office staff is just horrible and it is impossible to get on the phone. Annoying a great doctor has such horrible staff and response times.

Horrible service. Took them over a month to tell me my lab results were normal and only after I had to go in person to request them because they never pick up phone calls or return VMs. The male assistant got offended when I told him he never returned my calls and has the most arrogant attitude I have encountered from a medical professional. Dr Swamy walked out of the office while I waiting for her to read me my lab results in the middle of the day. They just dont seem to care about their patients. The office vibe is dark, dingy, and always empty. Its just the doctor and the assistant, perhaps they're trying to save money on staff. If so, they should just shut it down because one of them is awful at his job and the other one has no backbone to keep him in check. Total nightmare and waste of time. My desire is to erase them from my memory altogether.

I really like Dr. Swamy however her office staff is horrible. She needs to get better office staff. It's unfortunate when a patient is considering leaving just because of your office staff.

A very intelligent, knowledgeable and caring doctor, who takes the time to ask the right questions. Her staff is always courteous and helpful. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Besides the front desk looking bored, Dr. Swamy was great! I would recommend her to anyone. She answered all of my questions and listened to everything I had to say. She asked a lot of questions to get to the root of my medical issues. She's very knowledgable and considerate. She offered different options on handling my medical care. For all the doctors that I've ever seen, I was truly impressed with how much she talked with me. Also, her nurse, Florita, was awesome. She listened to my concerns and even discussed how the appointment was going to work. At the end of the visit, she made sure that I understood everything and left without any questions. I've been looking for a new PCP since I moved to Austin and I think I found her!

I really like Dr. Swamy, but its so difficult to make an appt since her staff does not pick up the phone and the phone system just takes you around and around

I strongly recommend Dr. Swamy. She is a very caring doctor. Before her, I had never had a doctor call me the evening after my appointment to see how I was feeling. She takes her time with her patients and gets to know you as a person.

She really puts time in with me and is very thorough in her assessment. She is very warm and I really like her. I have been going to her for about 6, maybe 7 years but she is an amazing and compassionate doctor.
