Dr. Sunita Tummala, MD

Dr Tummala very thorough, professional, understanding and kind. She took time to answer all my questions and explain treatment plan. Very happy with my initial visit with her.

I like the doctors bedside manner. She seems quite knowledgeable. The office staff is not overly friendly and I had to call back to follow up on something that was supposed to have been taken care of for me. Also extremely thin walls in the patient rooms, I could hear the entire somewhat sensitive conversation Dr was having in the room next-door to me with a couple.

The worst so called neurologist that I have ever been treated by in my Life. Was treated poorly and given a hard time due to my disability. I was appalled and thief is complete abandonment issues with Treatments.

I was treated very poorly, was cold and acted as if I was crazy UNTIL testing came back saying I did have what I was sent there for. Now they bend over backwards to help me.

I was referred to Dr Tummala by Comprehensive Pain Specialists for a violent headache. Appointment was May 30th 2018. I did not see the doctor but a nurse Emily White. Questions asked by nurse were all answered. NO exam given (unequal pupils, bulging eyes, etc). Prescription written for Sumatriptan, a migraine treatment. She then told me that if I had anything serious wrong with me I would be dead. I went home and had a terrible reaction to the drug, I called back to get more information and I have yet to be contacted. Follow up with my family physician and a CT scan revealed stage 4, inoperable , metastatic brain cancer. I believe more education is needed for this nurse so she learns to deal with the speed bumps in her production line.

I was very impressed with the kindness, experience, and compassion of Dr. Tummala. I recommend her without hesitation. She answered all questions, asked if I had further concerns. My wife was brought back to the exam room by the doctor herself when we needed more information. I am very pleased with the whole staff, and look forward to the continuing care.

While I do not doubt that Dr. Tummala is intelligent and experienced, her bedside manner is very unwelcoming. She hardly looks up from her laptop. Very little eye contact. She has a cold, uncaring, and all business personality. She is very brief in the time she spends with you. Communication is lacking to say the least. She is very rushed. I literally had to follow her into the hallway to ask a question and she still wouldn't stop to talk. She knocked on the exam door of the next patient she was going to see and left me standing like a fool in the hallway. I felt as if she could not have cared less about my condition or how it affects me.

Every experience at Dr. Tummalas office I've had has been incredible. She is a very caring doctor and she took the time to go over my condition and the different treatment options I could choose from. The office staff Jen and Alex are extremely friendly and helpful. I've been seeing Dr.Tummala for a while now and I know I can rely on the office staff to deliver my messages to the doctor and they always call me back within a reasonable amount of time. I've never looked forward to going to a doctors appointment until I started seeing Dr. Tummala. This entire office is awesome! I would recommend everyone to go see Dr.Tummala!

The staff never follows up on patient calls until you've placed many calls to them then they may return your call. It appears that some of the clerical staff is incompetent. I called over a month ago I am still waiting on the reception to call back. Wow can you believe that???

I'm so glad I found Dr. Sunita Tummala. She has truly helped not only me, but my whole family deal with neurological condition. She is very busy (I guess this a good thing though) but always spends a substantial amount of time discussing issues I may have. I discovered her after a friend of mine who is a Nurse told me that she sees her as a patient also. I cant say enough good things, I really feel relieved knowing I'm under her care.
