She asked me why my problem needed to be addressed today and then said I should tell my obgyn. No other exam or advice. Also, the girl at the front desk charged me a copay when I had already paid my yearly deductible. When I mentioned that to her, she claimed to have 'called' my provider, BCBS. When I called my insurance and asked if they had recvd a call from Cardinal Medical Group, they said no. Go elsewhere.

Would not recommend to my enemy She didn’t take my disability seriously and couldn’t even remember the name of my condition. I left her office feeling upset as she made me feel like my concerns weren’t serious

She acted like I was inconveniencing her

I have been seeing Dr. Ghanta for 6+ years now. Working as a medic on HEMSI, and the local fire department, I have the chance to meet and interact with several doctors. Dr. Ghanta is one of the best around.

Dr. Ghanta knows I have asthma and has given me meds for it in the past. The other day I went to her and told I I needed a nebulizer (as that is what helped me the last time) she told me I didn't need that. I told her that is what I had when I had a flare up the last time. She said no get the steroid pump and I told her the pump hurt when I inhaled and she rolled her eyes and said I'll give you a prescription but I am not faxing it you can take it there. Oh and find out which one you want. So I called a medical facility that had them while I was there and put her on speaker and She said, your doctor can just fax it to me. Then Dr. Ghanta said no she(referring to me)will bring it up there. Then the lady on the phone said, please send her health summary. So I hung up and Dr. Ghanta said she didn't have health summary and I said yes you do. You have prescribed me asthma meds before. Then her eyes got BIG and she asked her front desk girl to print it out and give it to me. she… just had this I don't want to help you attitude!!Then after her front desk lady gave my health summary, I was just sitting in the room. I had to walk out to see if I could leave. Then Dr. Ghanta said, oh yes! I said what about my blood work and she said we will call you in a month to schedule that after your 2nd dose of the vaccine. I said ok thanks. It was the customer service and nastiness from the doctor that got me. The other girls were awesome! I Still never got the right prescription. I have NEVER experienced this before and I have great insurance.

Now I have NEVER had a doctor exhibit the following: blatant negligence in administering care, obtain and read from another patient’s file, or Did NOT properly examine myself to determine what is wrong and how to proceed. Terrible overall experience. Whitesburg Family Medicine: specifically, Ghanta Sunitha A, she obviously doesn't have time to read over your medical history before your visit, but if she can't even be bothered to read the sheet quickly when she's seeing you, that's just flat out negligence and had no idea why I was there; even after explaining my symptoms to her. I can only imagine how many people are just accepting substandard care by this harridan woman and her office staff. You’re better off going to see a ‘Doc in the box’ e.g. walk-in health clinic, a veterinarian clinic (yes for animals), WEB MD (self-diagnosis), or even asking a random stranger even then you might have a greater chance of receiving quality care sought elsewhere. More than likely, she… will prescribe medicine that you either: do not need whatsoever or could purchase over the counter at your local grocery store and/or pharmacy. Never in my life have I ever received such horrendous, heinous and poor treatment from not just the doctor herself but also from the entire medical office staff; that provides medical treatment to men, women, and children alike. Physician’s take an ‘HIPPOCRATIC OATH’ I think she forgot what she initially had pledged and is sworn to uphold. From my personal experience, I’ve noticed that the office staff comes to this clinic untainted and willing to help patients then absorbs this woman’s nasty and horrific demeanor. I’d further look into why the previous doctors had left this clinic to practice elsewhere. What is done in the dark will eventually come to light. Arrogance is openly served go everywhere here! If she hasn’t been reported to the AMA board (who monitors doctors licenses) she will now due to her lack of awareness and blatant disregard for her patients which is essentially what leads to horrible medical accidents like administering the wrong prescriptions, mistaken diagnosis, or lack thereof etc. I wouldn't even send my worst enemy to this so called doctor.

Office and staff roll over!! Can't get medicines called in. Front office staff rude! Dr. has become unfeeling and came across non caring last time that I was there. Very disappointed!! Had no problems with her up until staff change. Will be changing Doctors after this!

I absolutely love Dr. Ghanta! Very personable, knowledgeable, and professional.

would not trade her for any other doctors. She takes the time to make me feel relaxed and helps me to understand my issues. She and her staff are great.
