We had a very disappointing experience with this physician. During our visit, we brought our child in to have visible facial and neck injuries evaluated. However, much of the visit focused on repeatedly asking whether our child could have scratched himself, even after we had already answered that question. We became uncomfortable with the direction of the visit and decided to end the appointment before it was completed and seek care elsewhere. We subsequently went to the emergency department for evaluation. I was also concerned when I later reviewed the visit documentation. In my view, parts of the note did not accurately reflect how the visit ended or our concerns during the encounter. As a parent, I expect a medical visit to focus on evaluating the presenting injuries, addressing our questions, and communicating with the family in a respectful and clear manner. Unfortunately, that was not our experience during this visit.
