Dr. Supriya Varma, MD

I just delivered a beautiful baby boy with Dr Varma. I have to first say her staff and other assistants she works with are very caring, attentive and gave great advice throughout my pregnancy. I was a very high risk pregnancy due to my age and other medical issues and Dr Varma was very much on top of my medical needs and closely supervised my baby and I. I went in to be induced but had to have a c section and it was a good experience with her and the staff at Reston Hospital staff.

Dr. Supriya Varma is a nice and kind OBGYN, I have seen so far. She did a good job in my second daughter's delivery. We were aiming for normal delivery and she made sure that my wife deliver without taking epidural with normal delivery that time. We have seen her in 2017, but even now we are still talking about her kindness and care she has taken during pregnancy and delivery. I will always thank Dr.Supriya Varma....!!!

I wish I could leave zero stars. Dr. Varma at Women’s Care Group is horrific. I had 3 miscarriages several years back. Dr. Varma was very dismissive & callous. She literally shrugged, said I could do nothing to prevent them, and walked away. I did not like her bedside manner, but accepted her expertise. After the 3rd miscarriage, I was having MANY issues a week or two later, which lead me back to her. She said I was fine and sent me away. Several days after that, I went to the urgent care. They sent me to the ER. After a full exam & sonogram, ER doctors stated I had not completely miscarriaged and sent me back to her to "resolve" it. Dr. Varma said I was fine and sent me away. I ended back at the urgent care followed by the ER followed by Dr. Varma several more times—each time she dismissed me & sent me away. This cycle went on for over two months before I unmistakably “fully” miscarried despite Dr. Varma’s assertion that I had already completely done so. I… went to a different OBGYN who said the partial miscarriage could have lead to serious infection and/or infertility! The new OBGYN put me on progesterone at the first sign of pregnancy, and I carried my baby girl to 34 weeks! After my experience, I swore I would dissuade people from using her. What she lacks in compassion, she does NOT make up for in knowledge or competence.

Dr. Supriya Varma is very good to assist patients concerns. It was a wonderful experience that I choose her as a health care provider for my first baby's birth

I'll keep it short: 1. She only sees you the first visit. After that, only students see you but she charges like if she does. Nice nurses, but you pay full price to NOT see a doctor! 2. Incurred a $1550 bill from the lab from tests ordered by Dr. Varma that were not needed. After speaking with the lab company, even the representative mentioned that it was unnecessary to have tested both my wife and me. Especially when the test in question was extremely expensive. I dug a little more and the Lab rep confirmed that they do have a deal with Dr. Varma to send business their way. UNETHICAL!! 3. Did I mention that you never see her?! Switched to another provider and the difference was alarming. Better care, cheaper price, you actually see doctors for doctor's visits. Gasp! AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!

The ratings should be for her so called 'assistant doctors' and not for Dr Verma as she hardly checks the patients.I visited her office couple of times but I was unsatisfied with the attention Dr gives to you so I changed my Gyno.Always her assistants checked me.Its not like that she was busy. She was there sitting idle at reception or doing something on the computer.At the end they charged specialist co-pay even though the specialist didn't see me at all.I wonder how she has got good ratings on various sites. I honestly feel that if you are running a clinic by your name then give sufficient time to each patient.I made a mistake of choosing her by reading good reviews on website.When I changed my Gyno I realized what real care is.Also I came to know that there is no concept of assistant doctors at other gynecologist.

Dr. Varma, and her staff, are thoughtful, caring, and very considerate of their patients. They are very thorough, which I appreciate. I'd rather know the right answer for my health, not what's the most convenient for the doctor. Whoever gives Dr. Varma a bad review just doesn't like anybody. I am so glad I chose her as my gyno.

Ladies please do not hesitate to choose her as your ob.She is compassionate caring and will support you through the long haul.

She has been my doctor for the pat 10 years. Very calm at all times.Caring and considerate.Walked me thru two IVF pregnancies successfully . Now i am the proud mother of a 7 and 9 year old.

Delivered both of my kids. Absolutely love this practice.
