Dr. Surbhi Panchal, MD

I met Dr. Panchal in 2018 for a painful trimalleolar ankle fracture. I expected to leave the hospital with a cast but learned that surgery was required to add screws and metal plates to hold things together during healing. Dr. Panchal and team (Diana in particular) were absolutely amazing! They talked me through the surgery, answered all of my questions in detail and gave me the highest standard of care throughout the lengthy recovery. I honestly didn't even realize how fantastic the experience was until a recent knife-hand accident required several stitches from an out-of-state ER. The incision opened after stitch removal leaving ER staff perplexed on how to treat it. I was concerned and called Dr. Panchal's office for help. They worked me in on the same day for treatment and scheduled weekly follow-ups to monitor healing. I left feeling relieved that I was in good hands - no pun intended! Dr. Panchal & team truly are the best. I couldn't ask for better patient care!

Very bad bedside manner. Barely asked anything, barely examined me and made a diagnosis on a rotator cuff with just an xray Rude and actually stopped speaking to me ause I believe she didn't like I wanted an MRI to be sure I didn't have a tear. I requested a new physician.

I was rushed , not listened to & was just happy to leave . I now know why I’ve seen other poor reviews about her . She needs a better bedside manner ! I made an appointment with another physician .

I was referred to Dr. Panchal after falling and breaking my wrist by Advocate Immediate Care. I was put at ease after meeting her and her explanation of what she would be doing during surgery. Subsequent visits were always showing concern for my improvement. I had an issue with scar tissue forming too quickly so a second surgery was decided on by both of us. It was a relief that she listened to my concerns and didn't put off, taking a wait and see approach. The second surgery was successful and improvement moved along quickly. At every visit I had I was listened to and questioned thoroughly to be sure I wasn't holding back on information. I did not get to choose Dr. Panchal, but I'm glad she was who I was referred to.

Dr Panchal operated on my hand--it needed some 'repairs' after a couple of traumatic injuries. She is kind and humble and a great hand surgeon! Highly recommend her.

Dr. Panchal is a very caring doctor. I've had two surgeries this year and both were successfully performed by Dr. Panchel. One surgery was on my foot and thee months later I had surgery on my elbow. Dr. Panchal consistently took her time with explaining any medical procedure by sharing her thoughts and knowledge . Her nurse Diana is a kind and thoughtful person as well. Diana is always quick to return phone calls and address any of my questions. They work perfectly as a team. I highly recommend Dr. Sirbhi Panchel!

Dr. Panchal was prompt, precise, and caring. Her nurse and X-ray techs were very quick and kind. Would definitely recommend her! My broken wrist healed well after surgery.
