Dr. Sureka Reddy, MD

My Dr was out sick & unfortunately Dr Reddy filled in. I am a new patient and this was only my 2nd visit to this office. It had to be the worst experience I have ever had! My visit was for a follow upon a neck/back injury. When I explained what had happened with my back I was told "YOU HAVE ENOUGH!" I said, enough what? She said, "ENOUGH OF WHAT YOU GOT LAST TIME!" I never asked for a pill, but did want a referral to go see a specialist and I was dismissed. I was also having blood work done since I am a new patient. I asked if a Thyroid test was ordered since my mother & sister were having issues & she would not answer me! I walked out of there dumbfounded! My guess is this "Dr" treats every patient as is they are a drug addict looking for pills?? Possibly it was because I went to the Asbury park office?? I do understand there are many on the hunt for pills but I never asked for a pill and I am unsure why I was treated the way I was??? My husband had the appointment after me. He… explained to the Dr that 2 years ago I had an issue with insomnia and his Dr. prescribed Ambien. He told her what was happening and she said "We don't do that anymore!" He said, Do what? She said "We don't give pills for sleep so I am sending in someone from Psych. to see you!" and she walked out of the room! He looked at the nurse and said "what do you do for patients who don't sleep?" She shrugged her shoulders and followed the Dr. down the hall and they were gone! Psych came in after another 30 minute wait. She was very nice but she basically told him to come for a follow up in a month with our regular Dr. What a Horrible experience! Although I love our new Dr. I am thinking of changing offices so I never come in contact with Dr. Reddy again! What an absolute waste of time!

Dr. Reddy is a consciousness, though and deeply committed Dr. I trust her opinionsand have the utmost respect for her due diligence in the field of medicine. It is a pleasure visiting her office with such a proficient staff. Five stars to the practice.

I am morbidly obese and have been scolded by my doctors for years. For the first time I have felt supprted and listened too. I have compeletly changes the way I eat and I have lost 32 lbs in 5 months, I have not been hungry and I feel great.

I had doubts picking a doctor from the book provided to me from my employer. I had to use a doctor in the network with the first insurance group we were associated. After being treated by Dr. Reddy, I was glad I found her and her group. Dr. Reddy has always shown interest in my personal health, taken her time talking with me. She has valued my request and judgements concerning my overall health and gave her professional opinion after considering all options. She has always been right on in her diagnosis and in treating whatever ails me. She will be my doctor as long as I am and she is in this area of NJ. I highly recommend her and I am a strong critic!
