My grandmother had been going to this doctor for many years. When she complained about pain from arthritis in her foot, and trouble sleeping. She asked Dr. Lal to prescribe a cannibis-based solution as a treatment option, because it has successfully helped her in the past. His response was that he has a “feeling against it”, and that he would sooner give her opioids or naproxen. Dr. Lal even acknowledged that naproxen is harmful to gut bacteria. He said “I don’t want to get involved in drugs”, and when asked, said that he has no medical reason for saying no, and suggested to purchase marijuana on the black market. I do not recommend going to a doctor that uses his feelings above the latest scientific findings, and based on ignorance and prejudice, prefers harmful chemical substances to natural and effective solutions that have been proven effective in the medical field. He is unable to be objective and therefore is doing more harm than good to his patients. I would give zero stars if… I could.
