Dr. Surendra Shantilal Shah, MD

My grandfather goes for chemo therapy once a week they make his appointment at 12 o'clock and he isn't even seen or treated until after 1pm this place is disgusting the only reason we come here is because its closest to home. The nurses should not have a patient waiting over a hour they don't even get him prepared for treatment before 1. I don't know if it laziness or what but them nurses need to learn how to schedule these appointments!

Every time I meet Dr. Shah I feel he has taken enough time to answer all of my questions as well as explain to me how they are going to proceed with my treatments. After being referred to him by my family care doctor, I was a bit hesitant after reading the other review on this site. Despite this, I visited him several times and he gladly worked with me while I got a second opinion. I felt he was very honest with me and 2 years later I have no signs of my cancer coming back. A+ in my book

If you have questions to ask, Dr. Shah does not like it. He seems to take a dislike to it, almost like you are questioning his knowledge rather than you are scared and need reassurance. I myself to this day question whether or not enough was done so that my cancer won't come back. I had the type of breast cancer that could come back and yet he did not treat me with chemo only tamoxofin and the only side affect he warned about was heat flashes. It definitely has more than that you need to worry about. I now have advancing arthritis in my joints from taking it for three (3) years and I am told that there is nothing that can be done for it.Needless to say I was less than pleased with Dr. Shah.
