She was the reason I stopped going to reliant medical. Extremely aggressive and more of a salesperson than a doctor. I don’t recommend her at all.

Assisted in the saxual assaults of multiple women patients at UMass Medical Center. Knew about violence and sadism, including against children, and did not report or intervene. An attempt to halt the abuse by another doctor was intentionally sabotaged. Contact Worcester Police Dept if you were assaulted. Other sites in Boston may have allowed abuse as well.

She is amazing, best Doctor I ever had.

I can not say enough about Dr. Abend. I would not hesitate taking my children there for treatment if needed and would gladly refer her to anyone. I have been a patient for 3 years now and have consistently experienced her amazing "Bedside manner". Her willingness to spend as much time as needed to explain and make sure you clearly understand your diagnosis, labs, treatment options as well as ANY question I asked even if it wasn't the reason I was there. If I have any action items, labs or other tests I always get a phone call from her as soon as the results are in to discuss. Honestly she treats me like I am her only patient...how refreshing in todays world up quantity vs. quality

I was referred to Dr. Abend with worsening bone density scores despite medication. She was able to diagnose my not so common condition quickly. She explained it throughly to me and we discussed treatments plans. I always receive a call from her directly when there is an issue with any blood work. My questions are always answered completely and in a way I can understand. I am always able to spend as much time as I need without feeling rushed. I trust her completely.

Dr. Abend is very knowledgeable about diabetes and spends plenty of time going over everything from diet changes needed to medicine. She answers any questions clearly. She has a great personality and follows up with her patients by phone.

I am so happy I finally foudn a Dr that understands me. I have MS and thyroid issues. i love how I am able to discuss with both Dr abend and the nursing staff. No matter how awful I feel I always come out smiling. It is gret to be able to have a Dr call right away and discuss your resutws and work together as a team to help in my care. I come out of my appointment feelign like I am in charge and have a Dr on my team!! wish I didnt have to wait a year in between appts!

Dr. Abend is caring and wonderful. I have been seeing her for a year and a half and I can't say enough good things about her. This doctor saved my life. She gave me diet suggestions, rather than medicine to help me with my condition. Dr. Abend's diet and life style suggestions changed my whole life. The weight came off, and in turn I felt better about myself and my health. The proof that I am healthier is in all my lab results; which Dr. Abend has called my on the weekend to give me. My family and I are both healthier because of her knowledge and caring ways. When I go to see her I feel like I am chatting with a friend that is on the same journey I am.
