Dr. Susan Louise Alt, MD

Doctor Alt is the best Doctor hands down. I have a sore hand and would like to come in for a look to see what is causing the pain in my right Hand.

Thorough, kind, knowledgeable, open-minded. Hard to get an appointment with her these days.

When faced with a difficult situation Dr. Alt did not show the empathy or flexibility that I would have hoped for and look for in a doctor, and as a result I would not recommend her to my sister, Mom, friend or otherwise.

Dr. Alt truly cared about my health and advocated wellness through gradual life-style changes. She was my doctor for almost ten years before I moved to another state. She was patient, was never in a rush during visits or exams, and answered all my questions. She called me promptly after receiving test results. She is one of two best doctors I ever have in my life.

I was not looking for a new Dr until my finger was infected and my daughter's teacher recommended Dr. Susan Alt as her office was close to school and my normal Dr wasn't available until the next day. I called Dr. Alt's office and was offered a few options for appointments for the same day. I found parking right in front of office, which was fantastic with 2 kids in tow. Checkin was quick and I was taken back to my room. Dr. Alt arrived within a few minutes. Dr. Alt took my medical background, listened as I explained my reason for visit, she asked a few questions, offered me several treatments options with details on pros/cons on each. She was extremely understanding and nurturing as she treated my finger. She also spoke kindly with my kids and as a result my 4 year old asked for a bandage for her finger. One of the nursing assistants also came in to assist with my kids as we treated my finger. I was home in time for nap time and instructions on how to care for my finger. … My finger healed quickly so I didn't call for her a follow-up appointment nor did anyone call from office to check in. Since this appointment I have been 3 other times. I have nothing but the highest praise and respect for Dr. Alt and this practice. I strongly recommend Dr. Alt if you want a Doctor that cares, honest, trustworthy, detailed, and will look out for your best interests in getting you healthy. She is a talented Dr that cares in getting you healthy safely. She is now the only Dr that I and my husband will seek care from .

I would recommend that people not go to this doctor. She tried to violate my hippa rights to a third party by attempting to provide extraneous and unwarranted information, as well as interfere with the health decisions of my regular Dr. I only saw this Dr. because my regular Dr. was not available, and she has tried to interfere when I stated she is not my regular Dr. and don't want her interference. I am thinking of not even going to my regular chosen health care provider, who shares an office with her, because of the actions of Dr. Alt. I told her I will seek legal counsel if she continues with her phone calls from staff.
