Sue, was very rough, rude and explained very little to me. I have had 3 of the same tests done and I can confidently say she was by far no way near as humane, knowledgable, or gentle as the others. Absolutely horrible experience.

I saw Dr. Baumann for 20 years for my depression. She was always able to help me. I would highly recommend her!!

Worst Psychiatrist I've ever had. She over medicated me. When I stopped the medicine due to terrible side effects over the weekend without calling her - she told me she couldn't treat me anymore. Very uncaring and doesn't know what she is doing.

I have had occasion to see nine psychiatrists over more than 30 years.Dr. Baumann ties for first place in my experience. She is highly competent, very personable, compassionate and caring. She is perceptive to behavioral clues, and appropriately responsive and insightful. She is also flexible, and works with me to find the medications and doses we both are comfortable with. Compatibility is important with any Doctor, but especially so with a psychiatrist. After seeing a humorless psychiatrist years ago, I have a personal rule that I will not see a shrink that I cannot make laugh. Susan is easy to laugh and rejoins with funny responses or word-play. I have seen Dr. Baumann for four years. Her treatment is effective. I like her a lot and have great confidence in her.
